IPL Skin Rejuvenation/Photo Facial

Suitable for men & women, our state-of-the-art laser technology allows IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments to treat any part of your body. Improving your skins tone & texture while reducing visible signs of ageing.

At VIVERE Skin & Body we use Yag lasers which are the most trusted laser devices and state of the art in IPL and Photofacial technology. This device supports personalized settings through the ‘Advanced Mode’, which consists of specific light pulse parameters (number of pulses, pulse deviation, pulse delay) and light energy (fluency). A complete medical history with accurate skin typing of the patient will produce optimal results while avoiding any adverse reactions.

What Can Be Treated:

Photo Rejuvenation/ Skin Rejuvenation
As the intense pulsed light passes through the epidermis, it eliminates collagen cells, which are responsible for the aging of the skin. This Causes the production of good collagen and elastin which are necessary to restore the skin's suppleness and firmness.
Photo-capillary
Vascular pigmentation includes superficial veins, broken blood vessels and capillaries/spider veins this treatment can be performed by 500nm IPL treatment. Once the vessel is treated with an IPL laser, you will notice an immediate whitening of the vessel, graying of the vessel, darkening of the purple or blackening of the vessel. The dark discoloration of the vessel may last up to 3-4 days after the treatment. 3-7 days after treatment, the vessel will be broken down and absorbed naturally IPL does not treat varicose veins (large veins that reside deep in the tissue)
Acne treatment
Active Acne: This treatment is ideal for cystic acne, large growing pustules, severely inflamed skin and stubborn active acne. During treatment, you will notice deepening of lesion color, lesion sensitivity (if cystic), whitening of pigmentation. May experience intense edema/erythema that may last up to 5-10 days after treatment. Active pustules may burst out during treatment, this is normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an IPL Photofacial Treatment?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a light based treatment that breaks up pigmentation such as freckles, acne scars, melasma, liver spots, moles, broken capillaries and other such areas of hyperpigmentation on the face or body.
How Does IPL Photofacial Work?
The bright beam energy that comes from the IPL machine break up dark pigmentation and cauterizes red vessels, as a result the discolored area gently reduces in color, essentially erasing stubborn and unwanted red and brown spots. While stimulating collagen and elastin production to give your skin a rejuvenated, youthful appearance.
