What to Expect
During Treatment
The PRP facial rejuvenation process begins with a simple blood draw. The collected blood is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. After applying a topical numbing cream, the PRP is carefully applied to the face, often in conjunction with microneedling to enhance absorption & efficacy. The entire procedure typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes.
Recovery Phase
Post-treatment, patients may experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness, which usually subsides within 1 to 3 days. Most individuals can resume their normal activities shortly after the procedure. It’s advised to avoid direct sun exposure & strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
For Optimal Results
A series of 3 to 5 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 to 12 months.
